The Middle is Dead. The era of generic stock footage and middle-tier commercial fillers is over. It is being replaced by models that can dream at 24 frames per second.

The AI Film Society exists to bridge the gap between traditional cinema and generative AI. We are a collection of professional creatives who are done arguing about whether AI is “real art” and are busy actually making it.

What We Do We treat Generative AI not as a replacement for the director, but as a new, chaotic lens. It requires taste, technical skill, and an understanding of film history to operate correctly.

Sam Joos is a Commercial Filmmaker who understands the entire pixel pipeline.

With a background that spans the physical camera department (Cinematography, Steadicam) and deep post-production (Editing, 3D Animation), he knows the rules of filmmaking inside and out which makes him uniquely qualified to break them with AI.

He founded AI Ad Studio to help agencies and production houses modernize their stacks. While the Society is where we explore the bleeding edge, AI Ad Studio is the consultancy where we apply these tools to build actual, high-end production workflows.
