The Camera Has Changed. The Job Hasn't.
We are watching the death of the “middle.”
The middle-tier commercial, the stock footage filler, the generic explainer video that entire industry just evaporated. It’s being replaced by models that can dream up video at 24 frames per second.
A lot of filmmakers are panicking. They see the tech as the enemy.
The AI Film Society was built for the rest of us.
We believe that Generative AI isn’t the director. It’s the lens. It is the most chaotic, unhinged, and powerful camera ever invented, but it still needs an operator. It still needs taste.
This Society is a collection of professional directors, DPs, and all creatives in general who are done arguing about whether AI is “real art” and are busy actually making it.
What to expect from the Society:
No Hype: We don’t care about stock prices. We care about frame rates and coherence.
The Work: Weekly breakdowns of specs, shorts, and experiments that push the tech to its breaking point.
The Tools: The exact stack we use to get high-end results.
If you want to complain about the future, go to LinkedIn. If you want to build it, welcome to the Society
